The biggest tax increase coming down the pike is “Cap and Trade,” [It was passed out of committee before Memorial Day.] YET only a quarter of voters even know what that is.
Pres. Obama has said that if his cap and trade program is passed, then “electricity rates will skyrocket.” [His words; direct quote.]
But this is his Achilles heel because the facts are against him. But will the facts ever see the light of day? Will the American taxpayer be educated about this? WHO will do it before our non-representative ‘reps’ cram this down our throats????
The major media have only reported the propaganda about ‘global warming.’ Yet there have been significant events and scientists trying to get out the information that CO2 does NOT drive global warming.
This means that the carbon tax is not only exorbitant, BUT it is a TAX with NO PURPOSE. It is attacking a non-existent, fabricated problem!
SOMEBODY needs to get the news out.
Key resources that people need:

Heartland Institute has sponsored three international conferences on climate change with scientists from Harvard, MIT, and others, including Apollo 17 Astronaut Harrison Schmidt, Ph.D. and the President of the EU who has a Ph.D. in economics.
Yet the network news completely ignored these.

Some key quotes from scientists:
Dr. John R. Christy, Professor of Atmospheric Science and Director of the Earth System Science Center at the University of Alabama-Huntsville: [comments from debate on 11 Feb., 2009]: He was a lead author on the IPCC report.
--Our ignorance about the climate system is enormous, and policy makers need to know that. This is an extremely complex system, and thinking we can control it is hubris. [THIS is the most important fact of the whole issue yet Congress ignores it and is prepared to tax us to death on it.]
--The greatest climate change for the world is not physical change but impact on economy from climate change policies.
--Hansen’s 1988 hypothesis of future CO2 and temperature was badly wrong. Another test: climate models uniformly say greenhouse signal will be warming in tropical troposphere; but empirical observations show hypothesis false. [Hansen is Obama’s Science Advisor.]

"A few years ago if you would ask me [what is driving climate change] I would tell you it is co2. Why? Because just like everyone else in the public, I listen to what the media had to say."--Prof. Nir Shaviv, Institute of Physics
Reid Bryson considers global warming a bunch of hooey.
The UW-Madison professor emeritus, who stands against the scientific consensus on this issue, is referred to as a global warming skeptic. But he is not skeptical that global warming exists, he is just doubtful that humans are the cause of it.
There is no question the earth has been warming. It is coming out of the “Little Ice Age,” he said in an interview.
“However, there is no credible evidence that it is due to mankind and carbon dioxide. We’ve been coming out of a Little Ice Age for 300 years. We have not been making very much carbon dioxide for 300 years. It’s been warming up for a long time,” Bryson said.
